Scotch Bonnet and Snowy Egrets |

I have painted several Scotch Bonnet shells because it is the state shell of North Carolina where I live. Also common to the state is the beautiful Snowy Egret which is often seen on the shore, marshes, and docks of the coastal area. I try to include other shells common to the area in these paintings because an avid shell collector would know the difference, and, I would soon hear about it.
