Raven Over
Looking Glass Alkyd
This unusual bald rock mountain
named Looking Glass Rock can be seen from the Blue Ridge Parkway southwest of
Asheville NC. The rock is not far from the Pisquah Inn where I stayed, and, while
there, I was impressed by the number of ravens in the area. In the painting, a
sole raven can be seen soaring above the rock. The painting will appear in the
North Carolina Wildlife calender for the year 2000.
